Kate’s Encouragement Award

We are pleased to announce a new scholarship in 2024. KATE’S ENCOURAGEMENT AWARD will be a $1500 scholarship awarded to one Performance Ensemble dancer.

At the age of 9, Kate was in the GGSOD Performance Ensemble and dreamed of dancing competitively. Kate’s teachers saw in her the drive, talent and work ethic necessary for this next level of commitment. KATE’S ENCOURAGEMENT AWARD will be given to one dancer each year whose teachers also recognize those traits in this dancer.
